Married his high school sweetheart Sharidan Morales on Dec. 5, 2021 in Sacramento, Calif...Grew up going to both A’s and Giants games but mostly A’s because his father was a fan. Logan’s favorite A’s: Tim Hudson, Bobby Crosby and Stephen Vogt (who would catch him in his Major League debut with the Giants)...Roots for the Sacramento Kings and Las Vegas Raiders...Threw for 3,767 yards with 47 touchdowns and 18 interceptions in his football career at Rocklin (Calif.) High School. Was the starting quarterback his junior and senior seasons...He is considered legally blind because of astigmatism, which causes blurred vision. Diagnosed in 3rd or 4th grade when he was having a hard time seeing the ball. Wore glasses until age 11 or 12, which made football difficult, then switched to contacts. He still usually wears glasses when he’s not playing ball but only at night...His dad, Erik, played one season on the Serra High baseball team in San Mateo with Barry Bonds.,,Webb’s favorite snack food are Cheez It crackers...He drinks three Red Bulls before every start. Wrapped up his third Major League season going 11-3 with a 3.03 ERA (50er, 148.1ip) in 27 games (26 starts) for SF...The Giants went 22-5 in his regular season starts, going 13-0 at home and 9-5 on the road...Went 11-0 with a 2.20 ERA (31er, 131.0ip) and a .213 opposing average over his last 22 starts (including the postseason)...he struck out 142 batters (9.76 SO/9) and held opponents to six homers (0.41 HR/9ip) in that stretch...his 2.40 ERA after May 11 was second-lowest in MLB (min. 20gs)...The stretch also marked 22 consecutive starts without a losing decision, something no Giants pitcher can claim since Carl Hubbell did so from 1936-37...Webb went 6-0 with a 1.96 ERA (16er, 73.1ip) in 13 games at Oracle Park...his 1.96 ERA at home was third-lowest in the Majors (min. 65.0ip), trailing PHI’s Ranger Suarez (1.51) and LAA’s Shohei Ohtani (1.95)...SF won each of his 12 home starts, the most consecutive team wins in a Giant player’s home starts to begin a season since Billy Pierce also led the Giants to win 12 straight in 1962...the stretch also matches the second-longest such stretch in Giants history, trailing only Larry Benton’s 14 consecutive home starts without a Giants loss in 1928...the last team to have gone undefeated at home when a player starts was Zack Greinke’s Brewers in 2011 (Stats, LLC)...Allowed nine homers over 148.1 innings, third-fewest in the Majors (min. 110ip)...his 0.55 HR/9ip average was third-best in MLB (min. 110ip), trailing MIL’s Corbin Burnes (0.38) and MIA’s Trevor Rogers (0.41)...Had a 62.2% groundball rate, second-best in MLB (min. 110ip)...he also struck out batters out at a solid 26.5% rate...Was placed in the IL on June 3 with a right shoulder strain and missed 34 games, returning on July 9...also missed 10 games from May 18-28 with the same injury after feeling soreness following his start on May 17 at Cincinnati.

POSTSEASON: Made his first career postseason start in Game 1 of the NLDS...earned his first postseason win after throwing 7.2-scoreless innings with just five hits and 10 strikeouts...Became the 10th-youngest player to start a postseason game for the Giants in the SF-era and youngest since Madison Bumgarner’s World Series appearance in 2012 at 23 years and 85 days old...Was just the fourth Giant to strike out at least 10 batters in his first career postseason game, joining Jonathan Sanchez, Tim Lincecum and Carl Hubbell...he was also the first Major Leaguer to strike out 10 or more hitters in their postseason debut since Jacob deGrom struck out 13 in Game 1 of the 2015 NLDS...only 16 players in MLB history have had more than 10 strikeouts in their postseason debut...At 24 years, 330 days old, Webb became the youngest pitcher in Giants history to start a winner-take-all postseason game when he started Game 5 of the NLDS on Oct. 14...he limited LA to one run on four hits in 7.0 innings with seven strikeouts.

2020

Was with San Francisco for the duration of the 2020 campaign, making 13 appearances, 11 starts for the Giants in his first full season in the Majors...was named to his first career Opening Day roster...Turned in one of the better starts of his career on August 21 vs. Arizona, spinning a career-high 7.0 innings while fanning a career-best eight batters in the Giants 6-2 win over the Diamondbacks at Oracle Park...Webb threw an average of 4.06 pitches per batter faced in 2020...his 4.06 pitches per batter faced were ninth-highest among NL pitchers with at least 50.0ip in 2020...on the whole, Webb used an average of 18.4 pitches per inning, the sixth-highest amount of any MLB pitcher with at least 50.0ip... Permitted a .356 OBP to batters when leading off an inning, the fifth-highest mark among qualified NL pitchers...Tied with PHI's Zack Wheeler for league lead with seven hit batsmen and ranked ninth with 24 walks allowed.

2019

In his first career Major League season, Webb went 2-3 with a 5.22 ERA (23er, 39.2ip) while holding his opponents to a .278 batting average in eight starts for San Francisco.... Earned his first career win in his Major League debut on August 17 in Arizona, tossing 5.0 innings and allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out seven batters...became the first Giants rookie starter to earn a win in his Major League debut since Ryan Sadowski on June 28, 2009 at MIL.... Twirled 6.0 innings of one-run ball, struck out seven and allowed two hits in a Giants 4-1 win on September 22 at Atlanta...in doing so, he became the fourth Giants starter in 2019 to go at least 6.0 innings and allow two hits or fewer...marked the first time in his professional career (Majors and minors) he tossed at least 6.0 innings allowing two hits or fewer.... In his final three starts of the season with SF, he went 1-1 with a 3.18 ERA (6er, 17.0ip) and held opposing batters to a .183 clip while striking out 15 batters...SF was 2-1 in those three outings.... In three starts at Oracle Park he went 0-2 with a 3.86 ERA (7er, 16.1ip) while only walking three batters...in five starts on the road, he went 2-1 with a 6.17 ERA (16er, 23.1ip) while holding his opponents to a .258 batting average.... Had his shortest Major League outing on September 5 at St. Louis, allowing eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits in 2.2 innings while throwing 67 pitches.... Began the season with Double-A Richmond and got off to a hot start in April, going 1-2 with a 2.00 ERA (6er, 27.0ip) in five starts.... Was suspended 80 games after testing positive for the banned performance-enhancing substance Dehydrochlormethyltestosterone (DHCMT)...during the suspension he spent time in Arizona working with the training staff to stay in shape.... While he pitched in extended spring games, Webb was back on the hill in a real game when he joined the AZL Giants Orange in Rookie League on July 12...he pitched twice with Class-A Augusta during his rehab assignment and was reinstated on July 27.

2018

Spent a majority of the season with Class A Advanced San Jose before a promotion to double-A Richmond for his final six starts of the season...Selected to the California League Mid-Season All-Star team...Posted a 1.82 ERA in 21 games (20 starts) with San Jose before his promotion to Richmond...averaged a strikeout per inning (74 strikeouts in 74 innings) while holding opposing hitters to a .207 clip...Did not allow a run in five consecutive starts from May 13-June 3 (17.0 ip)...Allowed four runs in his last 31.0 innings before his promotion (1.16 ERA)...Posted a 3.82 ERA over six starts with Richmond...allowed five of his 13 earned runs with the Flying Squirrels in his final start of the season.
