Unfortunately, the show won't be coming back for another season. Series creator Dennis Heaton revealed the news on his Twitter page.

"For two seasons I was honored to work with an incredible cast and crew on The Order for @netflix. It is one of the best experiences of my career. Unfortunately, we aren't returning, but I will always cherish the memories and the props I stole. Thank you all for watching," he wrote.

What was going to happen in season three of The Order?

While fans won't get a chance to actually see what happens next to the students of Belgrave University, Dennis Heaton gave fans a small sneak peek into what would have happened if the show came back.

"PS - Jack was totally going to raise Alyssa from the dead, but she was going to come back wrong. Like, Pet Sematary wrong. Probably possessed by Zecchia. And a whole bunch of other corpses were coming back with her," he revealed.

A fan also asked him about Vera's magic, which he confirmed she would've gotten it back.

"That was going to be a longer haul, but she'd get it back. And god help us all...," he wrote.
